The Soccer
First Soccer Academy program for ages 6-14 is offered for the entire
year: outdoors during the Spring and Fall, as well as indoors for
Winter. The philosophy of the Academy is to provide an opportunity for participants to play soccer and receive coaching through practices and
games. Soccer First will take individual registrations, create the teams,
and provide the instruction at our facility. Soccer First Gears Up To Enter
M.O.S.S.L. Play This Spring! Soccer First is pleased to
announce that it will be offering a new level to its Soccer Academy program
this spring. We will field teams in the Under 8 age group in the Mid-Ohio Select Soccer League (MOSSL) Academy
league this spring, as well as, having teams that train and play games at
Soccer First.
Moving into the fall season we will offer three levels
for the academy.
Level 1- beginners- Teams will practice and play games at Soccer First. Level 2- intermediate- Teams will participate in MOSSL
starting Fall 2012. Level 3- advanced/competitive- will play in MOSSL starting Fall 2012.
The idea for the program is to offer participants a variety of options
and chances to develop. This format will provide more consistency to
our program. In the past most of our Academy teams were newly formed
each season so that the opportunity to play and learn is there, but the
teams are not as competitive as teams who play/stay together for multiple
seasons. In this format you will be able to start at the beginning
level and stay with your team and/or move up through the program.
Highlights
$160 per player includes administration by Soccer First, league fees, practice rentals and team shirts.
